Broken side mirror.

not mine! my wifes RSX!
here is the story, I was following her home. My street has a lot of street parking. on both sides. I saw a car approching from opposite direction and had a feeling my wife was not going to yield. they both try to squeeze in together between the two parked cars, and BANG! her left mirror clips the parked mercedes mirror. I expect her to pull over, but she keeps on driving home. I pull up behind her in the garage and look at her mirror. its shattered. I ask her are you okay? why didn't you yield? why didn't you stop? did you know you hit that guys car?
I tell her to get in my car and we drove back to the mercedes to have a look. no damage. still I leave a note explaining what happened and my business card in case there is any internal damage. two days later some lady calls me telling me there is no damage and was very very thankful that I left a note. a lesson for my wife.
As for her car, there is NO damage to the mirror housing. just the impact and shock shattered the mirror!

So, my question is, how do I replace the mirror. I already have the part on order ($70) is it glued on? how do I get the old one off and the new one on?
Thanks in advance!

Sorry man but I hate drivers like your wife. Wtf people can't wait 2 seconds. Atleast you were decent enough to leave a note.
