Well I just got back from my dealer after arguing with the service department about the TSB for the CL and TL brakes. They stated that the TSB is only for NON-Type S models because if it was for the Type S models it would state it on the top left of the TSB where it states what models it is for. I showed them that is says for CL and TL ALL. They said that the ALL meant that it was for all VIN #'s of non Type S models and not certain dates of manufacture. My dealer used to be great, but now I feel they are giving me the biggest load of B.S.

Anyone have any proof that the TSB is for Type S models too?
I would love to prove them wrong....and get my badly designed front brakes fixed!

 

the service bulletin specifies "2001 3.2 CL - ALL"

So this applies to the Type S and Premium models.
No mistake about it!

If it did only include non-TypeS models, as your dealer suggests, then the service bulletin would state specifically "except for Type S." Which isn't the case here.
