brakes shaking after being parked for 5 weeks
I've been out of the state for the past five weeks and just yesterday I went to pick up my car from a friend's house. The car had been parked outside and from what I've heard Pittsburgh has had all four seasons in the past month.
Anyway, I noticed a lot of rust on my rotors when I briefly glanced at them. I figured once I get driving the rust would be rubbed off.
After driving through some residential streets, I got on the freeway. I had to hit my brakes moderately hard at one point, and I noticed the car shaking very badly. The steering wheel felt like it was being violently shoken.
I drove it all day to day to try to wear the brakes back in, but I still notice the shaking when I get up to speed.
Do you guys think it's time for a resurfacing? I have 2,300 miles on my CL-S.
