Brakes making a binding noise??
Hey Guys,
I did my brakes about a month ago - Hawk HPS on OEM-Style Rotors.
As of late I've been having what I think are Brake problems. For some reason, as soon as my brakes are warmed up (i.e. 10 minutes driving in the city, or after driving on the highway) whenever I got light to medium on the brakes I hear a kind of binding noise. It almost sounds like the sound you would get from a bad CV Joint when turning. It's related to each revolution of the brakes. It seems to get worse and worse as you drive longer, almost develops a bit of a grinding noise.
The weird thing is, it will be really bad and I'll stop driving the car for 1/2 hour. Immediately once the brakes are cold there's no sound and they feel normal with no issues.
I can't for the life of me understand what's going on... anybody have a similar issue?
This first started after a long (400Mile) drive on the highway, not sure how that would be in any way related.
