Is the brake TSB for the accord too?
I'm about to take my girls 02 2.3 accord in because the brakes are already toast at 15K. Is this about avg? I don't know any good accord boards so i'm trying you guys.

doesnt the accord have the same brakes as us? at very least their the same compound... and the car weighs about what ours weighs.
so id assume it suffers from the same problems we have if not worse.
so yea that TSB should be for the accord.
what do you mean the brakes are `toast`
warped? worn down? what

Coming from an old Accord SE I can tell you now that at least in my case the Acura vs Honda service is night and day.
Everytime I took my Honda into the dealer I bought it from I had to convince them the problem was real and I wasn't just making it up in my head. Even after they would test for an obvious problem it was a 50/50 chance they would just say "no problem found"
That being said when I took my Acura in for the first time for service ( I think my driver seat was slightly loose and would rock a little) I was VERY paranoid they would just tell me I was being a baby and that it was normal. I really didn't expect much after the service from the Honda dealership.
However, much to my surprise after the tech tested it out he came back and said "That seat feels like a f*ckin rocking chair!" I knew from then on I would be taken care of by Acura. Every time I have taking my car into my Acura dealer they do listen to what you tell them, and they do fix it.
Because of this great treatment I will probably keep my CL until Acura comes out with a new sport luxury coupe. I think it will be worth waiting for.
That all being said... lots of us have had luck getting Acura to resurface warped rotors and replace pads under warranty, however good luck getting Honda to do that -- at least if my old Honda dealer was any indication of treatment you can expect.
I was able to convince Honda to do it once for my girlfriend, but I seriously had to yell at the advisor about how an Acura dealer has no problem admiting its a defect and covering it under warranty etc. etc..., so why wouldn't Honda?
