IS the Bose system the same in the CLS as in the TLS?

Nope diff. the tl has a sub and I think the cl has tweeters.

...and the TL and TL-S have rear door speakers, not rear shelf speakers.
My dad has a '99 TL and my stock system sounds way better than his.

Seriously though, the mids & highs are OK but they both severely lack in BASS.
Even the Sub in the TL is a joke.
You need to throw a REAL Sub in the trunk like I did.
