Boosted Members: Post Your Gas Mileage

Post your average gas mileage. You can choose 2 options. Choose mileage for the city and then again for the highway.

uhg, 17mpg and 22mpg steve? I suppose that woudl be an acceptable trade off to me if I had a boosted car. I've gotten 30mpg in my NA 3.0.

I never figured out my mileage...

I get over 150 miles on a half of a tank.... once my tank hit 1/2, I fill it up... costs me like 25 duckets for 94 octane.

So yeah, I HAVE NEVER seen the gas light, light up on the gauge cluster....

Wouldn't it be more of a comparison if we only compared 2nd gens or only 1st gens?

So why did you vote OVER 30mpg?! If you fill up at around 160 and you are only at half a tank that is only around 22-23mpg!

I get decent mileage for now. But when I go turbo, I'm sure I won't get more than 26 highway. Turbo schit should be finished in a month or so. Yay.

On a recent trip from Balitmore to Cleveland, I dumped a can of Red Line Cleaner in the tank at fill up before I left and got 33 mpg.
But I have been averaging around town 26 mpg.

If I grandma the 6 speed in the city with no A/C, I can get around 18mpg; and 28 mpg on the highway with a tailwind, 75mph cruise, no A/C.

If I'm boosting in the city and / or the highway, I just and watch the gas gauge drop.

The heat/humidity down here in S. Florida just kills the S/C'er performance. I should do the reverse of you northern guys:
Buy a beater to drive on the 105+ heat indexed days of summer and bring the CLS out only during the winter months.

That's money, I get the same.
I was able to get almost 31 once, cruise set at 70 between stops just with the music up in no rush.

I get 350miles until the light comes out...

so that's about 13.5 gal to fill back up.

350/13.5 = 26 mpg

I do city and freeway equally

I have an 01 CLs and I'm barely getting 17mpg. I would say 70/30 freeway/city. I have an AEM CAI, Neuspeed cat-back, and RH 19" C5s. I've kept track of the mileage for the past month and have really been taking it easy on the go pedal. Is this normal?

around town, it suffers alot and i get about 15 mpg. but thats because i dont like traffic and so im willing to hit the gas harder in the city to get in front. on the highway, ive noticed i can double my fuel consumption if i go over 90 mph and stay pretty heavy on the gas. calm highway driving yields over 25 mpg, which i think is quite good as my friends g35c6sp stock, with calm driving, never gets that kind of mileage! in fact, he's never gotten over 25 mpg, EVER!

On average I tend to drive my cars pretty hard. I notice about 14-15mpg on average (240-250 miles on a tank). Before I had anything done I was around roughly 260-270 on a tank, and I do mostly city driving. Time for a 5sp Honda Civic HX 36mpg city and 44 hwy as a daily driver, atleast until the gas prices go down.
