Body Shops in MD
I'm looking for recommendations for body shops in Maryland; preferably in Montgomery or Howard County. I've got a few minor things I need taken care of. No actual body repair actually. I got attacked by a shopping cart last week that left 2 nasty inch long scratches, when I purchased my CLS in May it looked like the previous owner swapped a little paint with a parking garage pole (just paint no body damage or major scratches), buff out a few other scratches that bug me, and paint my M5 spoiler.
Can you post your experiences with local shops? Thanks guys.

I have used Quattro Auto Body in the past. They are in Silver Spring. I have been very happy with their work. They are one of the more expensive places in the area, but they have done a good job for me.
I also have a copy of the "Washington Consumers' CheckBook" from Fall 2002 with ratings of area Auto Body Shops. Send me a PM if you would like me to list a few names from that article.

Yeah, I too went to PIE's.. They people I dealt with are pricks and were rude EVERYTIME i called on the phone, but the work was perfect.
They had my car for 13 days to fix a bumper. Crazy.. but it was done right.

When I was still living in Montgomery County (moved from Olney last year), I used D&D Auto body in Rockville two different times, one time for a bumper and the other for hail damage. They were listed in the Washingtonian a while back as one of the recommended body shops. They did a great job each time. My only complaint was they were a little slow, so if you use them, tell them you need the car back ASAP.
