we took a friends car into the the shop for a minor accident and the repairs stated it needed a new bumper. The cars a 95 talon tsi and we asked the bpdy shop if u could just put an aftermarket body kit on it since we want the car painted anyway and they said the would do it but wouldnt guarantee the paint job b/c all body kits are made japan and they havent profected their technique and within a year or two the oil from the paints bleed into the material the body kit is made of and the paint just starts flaking off when your driving. After about a 3 hour debate with the gay we finnally just say fine no body kit but lets put a 97 talon bumper on it.........the guys says "nope wont fit" my friend flips hes like WHAT THE F***!!!!...hes yellin at the owner, everyone he finnally takes it as far as yelling at the owner to go inside go on the computer and tells him to look at about 30 95 talons on cardomain.com with 97 bumpers on it....the owner says it can be done but will cost...my friends soooo pissed he gets in his undrivable and just leaves giving everyone there the finger.......well just to get to the point has anyone hard of the paint peeling on body kits after a year or two?????
