Black housing foglights

hey i recently tried removing the lense covers from my stock fogs lights and i'm just wondering a good temp to bake them at, i've read how to remove the lenses for the headlights for like 10min at like around 200 degrees but for the fogs its not working the same and didnt melt the glue. Anyways any insight would be helpful thanks.

some u actually have to cut open... plus black housing will do nothing for your lights... they already don't produce much output, black housing will just light up the housing and nothing on the road...

I've tried this. I used 200-400 & at the higher heat the housings melted before the glue gave way.

At the lower temp The glue was still rock hard but 1 light I was able to pry apart after. But it took a chunk of lens with it.

I gave up

i opened mine with a heat gun. it has this attachment that directs the heat in a horizontal line so i just went along the edge. Good thing about it is when u get a small section open enough to stick a screw driver in you can start prying it open as u heat the silicone.

you can use plexiglass/lexin or w/e there's a semi-new thread on the tl side, but they reported it melting since they used HID, but i believe you should be fine.
