Better gas mileage with misfires ?

I recently got a engine code and it was a misfire in cyclinders 5 and 6. THe code went away by itself, but in the past two tanks of gas, I have been getting about 330 miles a tank, but I usually get about 280 to 300 max a tank. Is it a good thing or do i have a bigger problem.

It's never a good thing to have a misfire. That means one of your cyclinders is not working up to par.
