Best way to Black Out tail lights...

Subject kind of speaks for itself but I have a 1997 2.2 CL black and I want to black out the tail lights...I heard to use black lens paint but I just wanted to check the forums to see what the best way to do them from the experience CL owners...

Use 'nightshades' spray tint from what i've heard (i've never done it)...you should be able to find it at a performance shop.
