Best Tire Combo for Cl=P
Hi my cl-p comes with 205/60/16. I want to get some better tires in terms of perfomance/ use in new york weather and apperance. How wide can i go with these, OEM type s rims can get 235 i believe, do you think 225 is possible or is that pushing it, and what sidewall number would be good without scarificing safety and performance. THANKS

Please read the Best Tire post within this forum. All the basics apply to your issue as well.
The key is having a clear idea of what result you want out of the change.
Better handling? Acceleration? Better gas mileage? less tire spin? more responsiveness?
Once you can clearly answer all your objectives, then you can start looking at the different specs that will help you achive your goal. But remember, there will be some trade-offs to some degree no mater what.
Bottom-line, there is no such thing as a tire that meets all the requirements. But will meet some goals without impacting others too negatively.

Best bet would be 225/55/16 or upgrade to some 18's
