Best Muffler For Deep Sound - 03 cl Type S
I have a 2003 acura cl type s, I installed xs power headers with a str8pipe at first until I had to pass emissions now i have a magnaflow cat install on the stock catback. I'm trying to get that deep exhaust sound but don't know which muffler to choose or size to correctly fit the stock pipe. I really don't wan't to pay for whole catback and rather just get mufflers. I found Manzo stainless steel cat back with mufflers on ebay but i am not sure it will fit my stock pipes, I also know that some of the 2002 honda accord coupe parts are interchangeable with my cars parts, so does anybody know if accord mufflers will fix or have any recommendations on where i can find a good pair of mufflers that will fit, Thanks?!

Accord v6 mufflers bolt up just fine. I actually have an accord catback on my car. Only problem is that I had to lengthen the mid-pipe by about 4", but the rear mufflers fit perfectly on a stock midpipe. Not sure what would sound good. I attempted to use Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers with a cat delete and they did nothing to change the exhaust tone, so avoid those. Just do it right the first time and get something good, unlike me.

I only have magnaflow 14832 mufflers and it has a pretty deep throaty sound. I am going to try and get a dynomax or vibrant resonator when I get my manzo headers in and play around with that.

I have removed my resonator and put in my manzo headers. The car is LOUD now and pretty raspy just an fyi
