Did he give u special treatment because of the free publicity, or does he take care of all his customers that good? I'm definitely gonna have to check them out, washing the car by hand during the winter months is hard!

J Rock Im sorry but I thought that everyone knew about the rims since people had them before me. The rims are:

SSR Competition made in Japan
Silver with polished lip
17 x 8 wide
48 offset
114.3/ 5 lugs
bought through Tirerack $379 each
14 lbs. each compared to 26 lbs. stock rims

By the way Thanks for all the compliments. I actually didn't by the rims for show obviously cause I bought 17" only. I haven't dragged my car since I got them so I don't know how much faster. I can feel that the car is more responsive and quicker and feel like the torque has been increased a bit. I haven't dynoed my car but will be doing soon keep u posted.

Cool thanks for the wheel info! Those dont look bad for 17", I guess because of your drop. Usually 17" rims look too small.

Nice appearance and nice performance benefit too.

The owner was happy cause its free publicity but no discount didn't want one. It's cheap as is for the amount of work they do.

Well after reading all the hype about this place I went there today and checked it out for myself. I definitely have to say the car came out great!! The cleaned everything, underneath the sideskirts, the sideview mirrors, the trunk!! I was really happy with the interior too! I think its worth the 15min trip from my house!!

I'm sorry bro, I completely forgot. Besides, I'm kinda glad I didn't call because when I got there I thought they would take credit card and its only cash. I only had $12 on me and I couldn't go to the ATM because I forgot my ATM card. It was so embarrasing, I had to pay the balance and tip the guy with quarters!!

Even more reason to have called me; you know I would have spotted you. Place looks great, but Im still wary of anyone other than me washing her when she's covered in tons of course, gritty salt and sand. No one is more careful than me. went over each panel twice, first with barely any presuure to get the grit off, and then a little more to get the rest off. Maybe I'll take one of the other cars there and check it out one of these days, or the next time you go, gimme a call.

Glad you guys checked it out. Make friends with the owners Dennis is the fatter one with the black MB with 18" AMG rims and the other drives a BMW740 barely see him tho. Once you get cool they always bring you in quicker and take care of you slightly better.

As far as the doorsills dkelly they are from APsignworks...bought them through a group buy but u can still get a discount if u mention ur from the forum.

I actually missed the part when the spray down the car to get the dirt off before washing, not sure if they used a pressure washer or what. I was busy walking to the ATM when they did that part!!

I plan on using them when the weather is too cold to do it myself. But I agree with you, nobody does a better job than if you do it yourself. I will definitely call you next time. Getting there is pretty easy too, took about 15 min.

I finally went to this place after reading the original posts (excellent pix!!) I have to say it's "worth the trip" like in the old Dunkin Donuts commercials. $15 does sound like alot for a car wash at first but then you realize what you get and it is worth it. One negative point though, I felt since it was saturday morning and they had a few cars starting to line up it seemed a bit more rushed than the job described (well described....) by original post. Thanks for the heads up on this place!!

Its not $35 for the wax job that is including the wash so it's $15 for the wash and $20 for the wax. You could either get the wash for $15 or wash and wax for $35, he won't just wax the car unless he washes it.
Im glad you like it so now there will be more Acuras representing instead of the Bimmers and Benzes. Like I said before once you become a regular the treatment does get a little better. He appreciates his regular customers more than someone who just comes once a year.

A 45-minute car-wash in LA costs about $100!

A regular 15-minute car-wash with the fixings cost about $40 at a decent place!

for 15 bucks it's not bad, but they resuse the same sponges, cleaning mitts, which could be rubbing dirt and small pebbles against your finish over and over. still rather do it myself

I try not to go on weekends because there is usually a line. The most I've waited on a weekend is about 1/2 to 45. They use a bucket of soap and water and chamois for each car. They wash the body of the car and then wash the rims, and I do mean wash. They guy will clean between and behind each spoke.

To dry they use a leaf blower and dry off each door completely. For $15, your really getting some good service.

Everyone is saying that they re-use the sponges and mitts and that it ll cause scratches.....is it possible that they rinse them out after each use? or did that never occur to anyone?

I can assure you that people that go there are repeat customers and are mostly business owners that make an abundant amount of money.

drop the Porsche off and get a ride to work close by and pick it up during lunch......service you just cant get anywhere else for $15

sorry but if I was a business owner I would rather do that then spend a day at home washing and waxing your fcuking car

worry about making money that can bring you better cars than if they reuse a fucking mitt.

if I had it my way Ill have people coming over my mansion washing and waxing my Porsche, Ferrarri, Benz, Cayenne and the whole time sunbathing with two bad-ass chicks while they feed me grapes, sipping blue label and smoking a cuban.
