Best Acceleration: VSA on or off...

I know VSA helps you maintain control of the car in adverse conditions and helps with traction, but is it better to keep it on or off when you want good off the line times. My friend (a Type R owner) said VSA will sometimes limit the power of the engine to prevent excessive wheel slippage (torque steer) on off the line sprints. So to get best launches should I keep it on or off? Thanks for any help!

You definitely want VSA off for the best possible launch. I believe VSA will retart timing and engage the brakes in order to gain traction. If you're encountering excessive wheel spin learn to modulate the accelerator.
