If you had $50k-$60k, would you REALLY buy a used '97 NSX?

Maybe I'm the only one on this board who wouldn't. If I had to keep it in the 'used' market, I'd go for the lotus right away.

This is what I'd get for $55k.

1998 Lotus Esprit Twin Turbo
1998 LOTUS ESPRIT TWIN TURBO. OZ Magnesium Racing wheels, glass roof, K-40 Integrated Radar detector, Y2000 aluminum dash and pedals, K&N air filters (+6 hp gain), Lotus stainless steel sport exhaust (+3% hp gain), upgraded lighting system. Lotus maintained with all service records. $55,000 Call Nelson.

I need $50K a lot more than I need a 5-year old NSX, but everyone is different.
Someone will probably be very happy with that car.

You guys should check out what you can do with that Lotus V8 TT.

The racing engine version pumps out 550HP and thats with very little change from the actual car engine.

If you were to spend $700 to get a performance chip for that car, it would take the 350HP stock all the way up to 450HP and raise the TQ to 360lb-ft torque! That should be enough to improve on the already impressive 0-60 in 4.1 seconds to approx. 3.8 seconds.

And YES, the car CAN handle that power since the racing engine version is almost the same.
