Balance Summer Wheel/Tire before reinstalling?

I know its a good idea to have this done...but...I only got 2 months and about 3k miles on the summer tires before they came off. They are gona go back on in April, and I did set them on their sides so that not much settling would take place...can I ignore the rebalance this time around?

Mine have been stacked in the garage since November.

They should be fine. I wouldn't pay for a rebalance.

FWIW, my buddy stores his 330Ci summer tires/wheels in the same manner every year and has never had to rebalance.

Good, mine have been like that too...all four stacked one over the other...I rally can't wait to get those stockers back on.... but it keeps snowing here.

Did mine on Oct 31st, and I refuse to have the snows on past the first of April.
