Bad CV Joints in only 6k miles!!!
I am really disappointed on the service and the car. When they did the 7500 mile service they told me they found the left cv joint boot torn, so they needed to replace the whole cv joint. Problem is that no one in the US has the part and I have been on a loaner for a week already.
Funny thing, they also want to pin me with the costs!!! With little miles and never ran a pothole, they want to charge me for it. Man, anyone had this much luck?

Don't let them get away with that. It's a factory defect unless they can prove otherwise which they can't do. I would complain to Acura immediately if they won't cover this defect under warranty.

Sounds like the dealer is taking the "wear & tear" approach. Even if you did hit something and tear the boot, you should not have to replace the whole cv joint.

if the boot is torn, they can replace just that piece. if the joint has some damage (i.e., loss of lube) as a result of the torn boot, you may need to have the joint rebuilt.
replacing the joint at 7500 miles doesn't seem reasonable, though.

Sound to me it could be 2 things:
-Inadequate lube applied from the factory.
-Someones been spinning "them" on the hard turns?
That's really the only way this can happen....moreso one than two.
