You get what you pay for (go ahead, buy a performance chip for $20 and get 100hp/200trq and 85mpgs) Let's see what you get for $500 SHIPPED. First off shipping will probably cost xspower $50-$100 and i'm sure they're in the business of making money so their total production cost on this setup is probably peanuts. Okay lets see what they give you... Turbo, Intercooler, BOV, Wastegate, FPR, Piping, Couplers...

I have no clue where you can find a decent turbo for $500, enough said. I can't even imagine how cheap the intercooler must be if cheap intercoolers already go for $150 starting. I don't even wanna get started on how much the rest costs.

Go for quality man, You can probably get a custom manifold for $800 and then just piece everything else yourself. If this was a good setup for $500, none of us would go to ct-engineering for boost.

Yeah $500 turbo kit doesn't sound like a good idea, but hey try it and let us know how it goes.

I've weighed all the pros and cons of the turbo. I already knew I want to do a comptech supercharger. I just was looking at a alternative.

I sent XS a email with our poll on XS headers and they haven't responded. This show why I shouldn't purchase anything from them. There customer service sucks. They responded quickly when I had purchasing questions. But when it got to quality, reliability questions I hear crickets.

If youre serious about a supercharger, contact 99v6sedan on here. Hes got one for sale. I dont remember his price but it was pretty good.

EDIT - Found the thread:

Its for an Accord but its mostly the same, the elbow needs to be for a CL-S however. Post up an offer, its been for sale for a long time, he might take it.
