Autoweek TV Editorial
Anyone pick up the last Autoweek TV editorial commentary they have at the end of each show. It went somewhat as follows:
"Ralf Schumacher of Williams BMW F1 team was asked at the US Grand Prix if he would like to race against any of the Winston Cup drivers such as Jeff Gordon, Schumacher replied: 'Who is Jeff Gordon??'"
To me this was hilarious especially with the crap going on in CART. F1 looks to be only of the only true high end motor sports worth watching.

Maybe, but F1 is all about money. IMHO racing should be about making production cars better. Very little F1 technology funnels down to production cars. I'll grant you some does, but not much. NASCAR even less. I mean how many of us drive carbed 358 cu in V8's every day. CART even less than NASCAR. Again how many of us drive 2 litre turbocharged V8's? IMHO the only racing worth watching is show room stock racing on speedvision.
The IRL has potential for turning racing technology into production. 4.0 litre V8s are in production cars and the series is sponsored by real manufacturers. Just my .02 cents.
