Auto dimming rear view mirror
#4
Thought you might wanna know this.
Ever since I bought my car... I left the auto-dimming feature ON all the time, even during the day.
at 34,000 miles, the dimming stopped working.. but took it to the dealer, and they replaced it, no questions asked. Just had to wait a few days for the part to come in from Marysville. Now it works great again, but I turn it off during the day.
Yeah, just thought I'd let you know that I think theres a lifespan for those mirrors. If you don't need it, TURN IT OFF. that's all.

same problem here. it started to not dim in spots. so i took it back to the dealer and they replaced it, but they cracked my windshied in the process. i guess those things are either really hard to remove or the dealer just f@#%ed up my car.
Akim! what's up bro?!? Remember me from the TL meet awhile back? I was the other CL along with yours? Good tip man; never thought of that.
