Doesn't mean they'll get that for it. I paid 5k less than what my dealer had it listed for when I bought my car used.

CARMAX is no haggling. The price you see is the price you pay.

And what's sad is some poor shmuck will probably pay that for it. They'll think oh wow it's at CARMAX it must be a great deal (which it isn't at all obviously) and they'll buy it. Meanwhile I was trying to sell it for nearly 3 months for $3,500 less than that.

The car is in great shape, runs great. Hopefully they replaced the spark plugs because they were foul. And the transmission was toast. I'm gonna go test drive it.

Trust me... CARMAX doesn't. My parents have purchased 3 cars from them... well back like 4 years ago when they actually had good deals.

I think that's just a reflection on the picture. It had two '03s when I sold it.

hmm, look at this pic of another '02 from carmax

http://www.carmax.com/dyn/factsheet/...spx?id=2995233

the lighting and angle of that picture looks just about the same and you can clearly see that one has two '01-02 headlights.. you should go take a look

Its poor lighting. Its obviously there, theres just to much glare. You think they are gonna sell a car with mismatched headlights?

If the salesman doesn't know you, you should tell him that it looks like the motor has been modified and returned back to stock

Someone should test drive it and bring up the fact that the tranny feels a bit off and it's toast. Then we can see if the price comes down.
