Attn: Central FL CL owners

I am buying a vafc2 controller and I need a place I can get it installed and dyno tuned. I live in Ocala so some place close like Gainesville or Orlando would be nice. Does anyone know of any good places to take my car to get this work done? Names and phone numbers would help a lot. Thanks.

On a side note, opinions on a good place to put the controller so it can be seen and also look good?

-Phil

I think Racing Zone Auto House does it. Also check Titan Motorsports and Velocity.

Thank you, I’ve been asking around at my work and some people mentioned speed lab, but I don't like the area that it's located in-Ocklawaha (trashy)... no thanks I’ll pass lol. Thanks again for the three recommendations. your car is really nice by the way.

I would recommened orlando too, it's a bigger city, i'm sure the car places work on more cars. i think the controller would look good under the factory cd player where we have that storage door on the 98 cl. anyone else have any suggestions?

Holy Jeez People! Here's the scoop:

1) Velocity Resources Rox - Jason is da man but doesnt have a dyno - his team will set the car right without the dyno using YEARS of experience!

2) Titan Motorsports DOES have a dyno and is VERY good as well - they will be dyno'ing mine after Velocity does the swap and initial setup

3) Racing Zone blowz Thanks for asking!! They do not have the expertiece working on 1st gen CL's like Velocity Resources does - trust me on this - I used to run the shop when it was Absolute Auto Accessories [takin it back to da old skewl ]

hmmm... i'm running into conflicting opinions. So then is Titan the best selection? Is their website www.titanmotorsports.com? I was looking for the phone number and address; wanna make sure I have the right place.

DjPharmacy what swap are you having done?

This would be the best choice as they have the most and best experience. And as for a dyno they don't have one but those years do make a difference as I've seen and heard of people going to a dyno and not being able to improve what VR was able to tune. They really are great.

I would take it to Jason at Velocity first - In regards to the swap question - top secret kant talk about it yet cause i dont want to get flammed by everyone - i want to have it completed and drop da bomb, know what i mean?? here's a "taste" of what it will be though - just a taste
