APEX'i WORLD SPORT DAMPER SYSTEM

For $910.00 (including shipping) this seems like a good setup. Does anyone have any experience with them? I haven't see them mentioned in this forum.. From the APEX'i literature: Affordable coil-over shocks for street. Smooth ride characteristic, adjustable height.

They do not include any sort of damper adjustment only ride height.Which makes me ask how many times are you planning on changing your ride height. You do need to jack the car up pull the wheels off to make the height adjustment plus if you elect to make a radical change say from a 1 inch drop down to a 2 inch drop you will need to align the car again and again untill you are satified with the ride height you choose.I am not saying they are bad just wanted to point out a few things that come along with them.Jens

Thank for feedback. I'm planning on going to 18X7.5 with either 225/40 (most likely) or 235/40 tires. Want to lower car evenly to make wheels/tires look good, and firm up
the ride (for the road, not racing). So this seemed like a good combination, firm ride and adjustable lowering. would also be adding sway bars (sure would be nice if you guys were in Colorado)..

We have 2 or 3 on the TL board with Apexi WS's.

They (and some of the cord V6 guys on SHO) say that they're pretty rough at first and go through something of a breaking-in period. They all seem to pretty much agree on this. They say its pretty rough at first, but smooths out later on.

Comments on the handling are "...like its on rails"

Oh, and you can get em for $850 shipped.

I had a hookup offer a little over $700 for them, so look hard.
