I don't mind if someone calls me a chick instead of a girl. I didn't mean to make it seem like i snapped at you. its just because theres a female member out there that STOLE my name (type s chick) and I though that you may have been referring to her. sorry...

YES, 235/45x17s fit on 17" wheels. I put Toyo T1S Proxies 235/45ZR-W97* on my stock wheels. Just ran some GTECH runs at 6.1-6.2 to 60MPH with 95 degrees (and I'm a big guy).

I think the consensus is: you will loose a bit of gas mileage, but the car will handle like it is on rails. The stock tires are OK on sand-paper like surfaces (and lousy on the freeway in deep water/fwy speeds).

The current tires make the car feel like I picked up at least .1+ g *and* they don't squeal like little piggies on paint strips.

Repeat after me, they do fit, they do fit, they do fit...

The car is more balanced as well -- go figure...

Did you have to recalibrate your speedometer when you put the 235/45/17 Toyo Proxes T1-S on your CL-S?
