Anyone using S.S. brake lines?

I am thinking about picking up some S.S. lines - CT or Goodrich. Anyone running these (or others) with stock calipers, rotors and pads? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
David

I have Goodrich lines with Wagner "Thermal Quiet" pads and I can't tell you how much better the pedal feels, along with zero noise and brake dust. Got the pads at the local auto parts store (not a chain type store like Auto Zone). You WILL be happy, trust me.

Thanks. First step is the lines. How difficult is the installation?

i changed the brake lines and the pads and put cross drilled rotors in at the same time. All that stuff makes a big difference.

Easy to do really, if you are not sure find a friend who has done pads before and knows how to bleed brakes and it will be simple. I used a Mity Vac brake bleeder kit to put suction on the line while adding brake fluid to the master cylinder. This pulls down the old fluid which is good, pulls out the air bubbles if there are any too and when you see the fluid turn clear ( the new stuff) you close the bleeder valve and go on to the next wheel.
