Anyone use the Laser Shifter ZR3 w/ escort Passport 8500 X50

I was wondering if anyone has used this, or has it with their current setup. I did try a search but didn't come up with anything solid... Will be purchasing a radar detector I was wondering is it worth the investment to purchase the Laser Shifter ZR3. Thanks again for your help and input.
