Anyone Thought of Installing a Fuel Filter
Has anyone thought or even installed an aftermarket fuel filter on their CL/TL. I know it sounds alittle wierd because we have a fuel filter on our cars already, and it is supposed to last 100K . Peronally I don't think there is a filter out there that will last 100K. The only way that I could think that someone could make a filter that could last 100K would be to not allow it to filter so well. By not filtering as much as it should only then could I emagine a filter achieving a 100K mile change interval.
So if anyone knows. Could an inline filter be installed inline to our fuel lines?
AEM makes inline fuel filters but can't determine which one would be suit our cars:
- '94-'01 Acura Integra (including Type-R)
- '95-'00 Honda Civic (including Si)
- '95-'97 Honda Del Sol
- '97-'01 Honda Prelude
Tnx

If it makes you feel a bit better all gas stations today have decent filters that probably get 99% of any bad stuff before it gets into your tank. The problems arise when some people buy gas from the off-off-off-brands just to save a few dollars. The best thing to do is try to get your gas froma busy, big name station
