Anyone seen the new Acura Oil Filters?
Just bought one. They shrunk them down to around 3" in diameter. They're so whimpy. Parts guy says they work just as good but I'm not convinced. Think I'm going to try something else next time.
By the way, they're even stamped that they're made by Fram.

Switch over to Mobile 1 there is also an oversized Moblie 1 filter for our cars but I forget the part number, run a search for it (if you want it) or maybe someone else knows

I was always confused by this. Are we supposed to use those new skinny filters on our CLs now?
I first came across those skinny filters when I needed to get one for the new Accord V6s. But as far as I know, you can still get the original fat ones. I know the new TLs and the TSXs use those skinny filters too, but I wasn't sure about using those on my CL-S.
Does anyone know the facts on this subject? Maybe Jens?

i've read that honda is completly switching to the smaller filters.
oh and the oversized mobil 1 filter is the m-105. the one thing i don't like about it is that it lacks an anti-drainback valve that the m-104 has.
