Anyone replaced rear brake dust shields?

Anyone replaced rear brake dust shields?
Just curious if someone can comment on what needs to be removed to replace these things? Mine have rusted through completely for some reason in the rear. Any special tools required? Is this info found in the Hayne's manual? Can someone scan the pages for me?
