Anyone have RacingHart C2 18's
I will be buying these soon! Anyone have these? I would love to see what they look like on the car.
I'm thinking of going with 225/40 tires. Probably Nitto 555, or Pirellis.
Also getting a drop!
Any suggestions, pictures?

I see that the Evo's are similar. Is there a big difference in price?

I assume these are 18's, right?
How much were your rims?
I'm getting the RacingHarts for about 250 each (just the rims).

Nice pictures. I too take a lot of sunset pictures.
Question: why did you purchase the camber kit. Was is neccessary for the drop? I too am getting a Eibach prokit drop.

The next set of Bridgestones (with the camber kit) have lasted for over 20,000 miles now... though it is time for a new set.
I do have rubbing issues in the rear because of the +42 offset. I had to roll the rear fender wells and remove part of the plastic skirt with my dremel to alleviate it.
And it's necessary for a small spacer in the front so the calipers will clear the rims, but only when you have new front brake pads on. Once the pads wear 50% or so it clears fine.

Also, did you purchase the rims not for your car? I say this because you have the issue with the brake caliper not clearing properly.
Do you drive modestly, or aggresive? Since your tires only last you 20K.
I 'll have to consider all these issues before I proceed.
I hope to start with my springs within two weeks. I am still undecided whether to go with the Ground Control (adjustables), or with the CompTech, or Eibach Pro Kit.
Thanks for all your advice. It will come in handy. This will be my first drop/rim application.

I got the camber kit from autocarparts.com. It's the eibach brand (though its made by Speciality Products). Seems like it was $150 or so.
I had it put on at my local Firestone tire shop as part of my Bridgestone S02 purchase... I don't remember how much... the whole deal cost me $1200 for tires, alignment and all.
I bought the rims for this car... but at the time there was limited info on +42 offset on the forum. So I just decided to get them (because I LOVE the look) and see what happened. So I was the guinea pig for the rest of you folk.
I drive aggressively... or maybe very aggressively. I'm actually quite happy I've gotten almost 1 1/2 years out of this set of tires.
I will say the ride is fairly rough with the springs and 18's. I like it, but it's too much for my wife. So take that into consideration as well. You'll save considerable amounts of money on tires and soften the ride if you stick with 17's. My .02.

RH C2 Evo's are a 1pc construction (not sure where they're made) = Affordable.
I had the RH C2s and had no rubbing issues with the rears, but had to get thin spacers in the front to ensure caliper clearance.

I will get the camber kit from Eibach.
So, what offset should I buy the rims at?
I take it that your rims are 7.5 inches wide, right?
Thank again.
