Followed this kid in his GTI yesterday after he thought he was cool and "blew off" on me, i rolled down my window and tried to ask him if he was @ stock boost but he couldn't understand me bc of his shitty music playing.

Anyway followed him until we got on a long even road w no traffic and pulled up next to him quick and stopped at 50, threw it in 2nd and we looked at each other and i nodded n we were off... well I was. I quickly pulled a car through second and slammed it in third almost wound out 3rd but I already had about 2 cars on him so just shut it down ... and he got in the opposite lane and turned haha

I dont know what he had done, it wasn't stock maybe just a couple bolt ons but BOV and exhaust were decently loud... my cars really loud at WOT tho so i cant really tell.

Id like to hear your story if you've had a run in w one.

 

they are slow if not tuned.

if tuned with stage2 or more, watch out!

 

They could be quick but the majority of them arent.

Streetka raced one a few days ago.

 

I ran one. Stage 2 DSG with water/meth and 100oct tune. He would pull 1-1.5 cars before 95 and I would pull back top end. We did 4 rolls. Down low their torque is substantial, so he would immediately jump on me. 35 roll he pulled 2 cars to 110. 2 40 rolls he was ahead until ~95 where I would pull back even by 110. Then 1 50 roll where I got a slight jump and pulled 2 cars to 125. They are quick when bolted/tuned. Stage 2+ with the HPFP apparently they are a bit quicker than regular Stage 2 as well. However, the one I ran with water/meth/100oct tune was faster than your normal Stage 2 as well.

Nice run to pull 2 cars like that. It would've been nice to know what mods he had. I doubt he was Stage 2 though considering you pulled 2 cars without getting into triple digits.

Ya Im not sure what the guy had done...It was definitely a different exhaust set up and he was blowing off somewhat loud, he was being really cocky so i felt the need to follow him and see what that thing had lol.

50 is my sweet spot in my power band(@2nd) so i immediately gained almost half a car.
