Anyone else notice a humming sound from their A/C compressor.

there is a humming sound everytime the A/C compressor kicks on. its definetely coming from the A/C compressor. I took it to one acura dealer and they said that alot of the type s's have been doing it.
i took it to another acura, and they said its normal for the compressor to make noises. (but i've never heard this amount in any other car, plus i expect a $30 luxury-based car not to do this!)

anyone else?

Mine does it as well. In addition when I am stopped at a light and the compressor kick in the car actualy moves a little. The kick is ridiculous. I did not take it to the dealer yet, cuz it takes them forever and a day to schedule a loaner but the car is going there on the 9th.

Maybe its a 'from the factory' hidden supercharger making that noise

Should we all be this lucky!

I don't have the HUMMMMM, but the "kick" when stopped is normal and we all get it once and a while.

How often do you all use you A/C? I have mine on about 99% of the time and have yet to experience this kick you're talking about, no that I'm complaining either.
