Anyone Dyna-mat their back deck lid ??

I have a band-pass box in my trunk and when I am listening to my stereo up loud my back deck lid rattles like crazy and drives me nuts. I would like to remove it and add some Dyna-mat to get rid of the rattle. Have any of you had this problem? If you have, have any of you added Dyna-mat or a similar sound deadener to the back deck lid. I just want to know how big of a deal it is to remove the deck lid. I can't see it being too much work but I just don't know if it is removable or not and I don't want to ruin anything or waste my time doing it if it's not possible. Hopefully someone has done this before. Thanks guys.

I did the deck and cross-members behind the seat.

Pop the seat cushions. Un-bolt the center console, remove. Un-bolt the seat back, lift up and out. Pop the c-pillar covers off. The rear deck cover slides off. Un-bolt the 3rd break light.

I used dynamat extreme. I would measure what I needed and have a friend outside the car cutting it. Maybe 4 sqft total.

I padded the 3rd brake light with felt/foam as well.

The dynamat helps, even with the stock system before I added a sub.

Search to find pics for removing the rear seat.

BTW - I did not buy the roller, I used thick dow to press the dynamat.

When you say the rear deck cover slides out... can you be more specific? Are there any screws or fasteners holding it down?

If I remember correctly, there are buttons that slide into fasteners. You do need to bend it a little. No screws or anything. You can probably see the fasteners from inside the trunk.
