Anyone buy a car off EBAY?
I wanted to know if anyone bought a car from ebay and if it was a good deal and if the car was ok in the shape it came in.

I have not bought one off ebay, but I really wouldn't trust it IMO. I mean how many of us have had dings or minor fender work on cars but did not tell the insurance companies? It wouldn't be on any reports, so..You just can't take most people's words these days without some actual proof.

I agree-I wouldn't buy one there either. A friend of mine bought an SUV on ebay only to discover his cheap re-paint on the fender guards peeling off. If you travel to buy, some dealers offer you free flight ticket home if the car isn't what they advertised, but talk about purchase pressure!
