Anyone in Atlanta area up for a friendly run???
No pun intended, just for fun, cant seem to find anyone to race me anymroe...I'm up for anything, some highway runs would be nice...

Im probably gonna be down there in a week for the Silverdollar thing, but 113 is a little much for me, even on a highway pull, but who knows....nice times by the way.....

Come to one of our SELOC meets. 1st Sundays of the month at 2. We got a spot downtown. Not sure if we got a Lexus that can keep up but we always have Supra guys there. We always take vids too.

I'm always glad to run someone. However in this case it would certainly result in a major loss. A 12.4@113 is too quick for me by far. We are going down to Silver Dollar Raceway on the 27th. It is an import meet but all are welcome according to the organizers.
But I am curious, why come to a CL forum an offer up a race?? The cars are not comparable nor are they market competitors.
I still have the knock issue to work our before going to the track. If it is not resolved by next weekend I will be going back to the lower boost pulley.

w/ the 100 shot ive ran a 13.9@109 (2.4 60' need some DR's or slicks) but i love highway pulls too cause it really shows off the true power in a car....

Even with the best launch possible and pulling hard throughout I would be seeing tail lights right out of the hole, with them getting smaller and smaller down the entire strip...

typeR, thanx foe defending me, lol...And its true, i came on the board not to pick on anyone or even to look for a race, i like the way ur cars look, and i'm bored at work most of the time so here i am...The reason i'm asking for a race is not to win or loose, but just to have some fun, and meet new cool car peolpe. As long as you are not a ricer with a big ass wing and a 17sec car that in your mind is the fastest thing on the road, you are ok in my book...

I like my CL for its intended purpose but decided to get the Comptech SC to set it apart from others as it looks completely stock inside and out (Except under the hood).Do you run up at Commerce often on the Friday night (crowded) sessions??

Seriously, If I could of swung the insurance at the time, I would be in a WS6. But I am more than pleased w/ my little 4.6 and would never go to the dark side.

Idle is lopey as hell right now
...Its running not so good, as i'm awaiting for my predator to come back to me, so i can tune it...I got a huge ass cam, so i'll be plenty fast, And the driveability is not bad even now, the car is a slug right now though since its running crazy rich...Will let you know soon what kind of #s i put up when i tune it...

Well... 2003 CL-S 6spd. Used to be turbocharged... 345fwhp @ 5.5psi boost. Ran a 12.9 @ 111.87mph (bad 60-foot, 900' altitude... but no excuses). Building it for NA now... don't think it will make 322whp like yourself, but hoping for 280'ish without having to take the bottom-end apart. I am sure it will run mid 12's with a 100-shot of NOS.... hence I asked Zoot to lend me his kit Then again, I don't really like NOS, so the ultimate goal is 12s on the motor.... might be doable, but we'll have to wait and see!

I dont think any of you want to race me now ...The cam is in and the car made 392 rwhp and 381 rwtq untuned and still missing a couple of bolt ons and heads of course. With tuning and the rest of the bolt ons i will be at 410-420 easy and than with heads......I now have an 11 second car...

I have a friend with an early 90’s vette that has over 400rwhp who might want to run with you ... the thing is why wouldn't you go to a forum with more cars like yours … I mean our cars aren’t built or meant to be raced … The CL is an entry level luxury coupe which so happens to have a nice quick V6. I mean seriously! Does your car have nice heated leather seats? Navigation? Automatic climate control? NO I think not! … if all you’re doing is looking for an import to race than the CL isn’t what you want … I have some friends you might want to talk with … One has a WRX which runs mid 12s and if that’s not good enough for you there’s a guy that goes to my school with a Hatch Civic with a turboed b18c5 which runs 11s ... go Here and post your "anyone want to run" thread
