Anybody smoke in their cars?

I smoke in mine every once in a while, when I don't have time to stand around and do it. And my car smells like smoke for a little while. Is there a way to keep it smelling nice?

Ionizer, febreeze aerosol - this can be used in the vents w/o getting a musty smell afterwards.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...arden&v=glance

I use something like that in mine, and w/o smoking it makes it smell cleaner, only problem is I do get a funny taste in my mouth at times, probably from too much o-zone being released into the car.

I smoke in the car EVERY DAY. It's still legal in NC.
1) use the outside air vent
2) use the sunroof
3) install the ashtray/lighter option(lotsa work!!)
4) vauum your car once a week
5) use fabreeze or other carpet deodorizers
6) clean your leather and dash with armorall
7) only do the above if you are of age and on your own
8) tell passengers to walk if they object
9) God bless a free country

It's bad for you, but at my age, alas, so few pleasures left....

Driving my CL
Smoking
Driving my CL while smoking
Smoking TLs while driving my CL
Golf in between

I smoke in mine. Never with the windows closed , I always hold it with my left hand near the open window, I sometimes leave the sunroof tilted up when I park, no ashing or cig. butts in my non-existent ashtry, and just for good measure, I keep a little bottle of vinilla smell-good spray in the g/b along with one of those vinilla hangy things under my driver's seat. It smells nice. I've actually had many timeswere someone gotten into my car and said something like.... (as I get ready to light up) "wow! you actually smoke in here? I would have never guessed!"

Turn off the full auto mode and make sure it's not recycling.

If the weather is even half way decent I have the top and the window open. Only problem there is the little ashes go all over the place. Lot's of vacuuming and Armor all to clean it up.
My suggestion tho is to stop smoking.

I don't but I bought the car used. When I took out the back seats rear deck, there were ashes all over and the smoke stained the headliner, I didn't notice it until I removed the c piller trim.

I smoke like a chimney, but I don't smoke in the car...

1) It's too nice of a car to mess it up like that...
2) When I sold my last car, which I smoked in daily (65 mile commute one way to work) it still smelled even after cleaning it and airing it out for months.

I haven't smoked in the car since I got it. 3 years and 41K miles... I look like a fool sometimes standing outside it smoking, but I'll be able to sell the car as "smoke free".

I don't smoke in my house either (just on the back porch, basement or garage).

Maybe I should just quit smoking all together

Nobody's ever smoked in my car, don't know any smokers.
Detailers say it's one of the hardest things to get out of a car.

I just take a hit off the exhaust pipe when I need a buzz.

I've only had basics done there, alignment (i wonder if he can also do the "corner" as he has all the latest Hunter alignment stuff). coolant flush, brake exam.
My cash flow dictates that mods will have to come later.

He is very technical and has worked on lots of Honda/Acura cars. I am sure he can either help you with the pulleys or will tell you honestly he cannot.

His name is Dara. Yes i recommend.

I use to love to smoke, but never smoked a day in either my Accord or my CL. I too must have looked the fool standing outside of my car on a cold night smoking away. At times people would walk by and look at me crossed-eyed as if I were preparing to jack the ride or something.

BTW, US00001, stay away from Armoral, especially on the leather....Yikes!

Never smoked in either of my Legends or my CL. Let a friend smoke in my Legend once, but all four windows were down and the sun roof was open(thank God it was summer).

I don't smoke.
My co worker that had a 6MT does. I borrowed it one day & the entire inside was covered in ash. I could write my name on the dash. It smelled so bad!
Another co worker had a CRV I borrowed. While it didn't have ash, it did stink to high heaven. I almost couldn't drive it.
In both cars I smelled like smoke hours after I got out of them. Just nasty!
