I'm moving to colorado springs next month and i wanted to know if there was any good acura mechanics or shops. I got my 90k tuneup and timing belt change coming up. Also what is the window tint % in colorado ??? it is sure damn bright up there in the mountains. Do you colorado guys (or gals :P ) meet up often. Thanks

I know that there is an Acura dealer in the Springs...Peak maybe? Can't remember of the top of my head. Check out the Acura web site. As you will see once you get here, there are not many CL's around these parts. Every other car on the road seems to be an Audi of some sort. Just out of curiosity, what brings you to the Springs? My guess is either the military or a tech job :-) Anyway, welcome, hope you enjoy our 350+ days of sunshine per year. The Springs is a nice place, with lots of great drives not too far away. Check out Green Mountain Falls, I have a log cabin that my grandmother bought in 1942. This town in at 7,810 elevation (HEAVEN). It about a 20 drive north of Colorado Springs. Also check out Manitou Springs. Only negative, during the winter/snow season. These beautiful mountain towns are "shut down" during the winter season. Make sure to take the Pikes Peak train on a summer sunny day. Take the 6:30 a.m train, otherwise the clouds come in later in the day and you'll see nothing because your approaching 14,000 feet. Visit the Broadmore hotel ($$$$$$$) five star mind you, and make sure to visit the Wil Rogers shrine and the Broadmore ZOO !

Thanks for the replies. Yeah i checked out cave of the winds already. I'm taking a job at Penrose Main Hospital. I spent a week house hunting there and I didnt see one acura cl there. lots of subaru though. gotta love that awd. i saw a nissan xterra spin out on a slippery road. are the cops really bad asses when it comes to tints??? i was planning on getting some for my cl but dont know how far to go. yeah lots of sunshine there. how about radar traps?? i saw a couple people get busted on i-25 going to denver. i'm so looking forward to colorado springs. it definitely beats omaha, nebraska where i coming from by far.
