Any Tire With No Areas Worse Than Stock?

First, yes I have done research on tirerack.com and I have read several posts here on tire choices but most seem to focus only on handling without much regard to other qualities.

Looking for either a 225/45 or 235/45 tire that is better (or at least no worse in any category) than stock. Priorities are; Handling/feel (mostly dry grip, no snow, little rain), ride quality, quieter (even after 50% worn), and will last 40k miles of average/freeway driving with an occassional onramp assault. So far, the RE730 Gen 2 or new Michelin Pilot A/S (ouch$$$) seem to meet these criteria. I'd like to spend about $150/ea. I'd like feedback on Acura CL-S use of the RE730 Gen 2 if possible.

Most threads I have read point to the S03 but again the priority seemed to be handling above all else, even if they wear out in 10k miles.

I've got 44k on stocks and I'd rate them average everywhere, but above average on wear.

Thanks in advance.

People seem to like the Sumito HTR+, if you're looking for a all season tire.

I have the Pilot A/S and they rock!!!

I like mine, so far. But don't have mileage reading yet. My orig. tires lasted 61K, I'm hoping for similar from these.. YMMV

Are the Dunlops Noisy?

I've heard that Dunlops are terribly noisy after a few 1000 miles, though not specificaly about the SP5000's. Good luck and thanks for the feedback.

Toyo Proxes T1-S is my recommendation. Excellent handling on dry and wet roads.

I've got 20,000 miles on mine and the handling is still great, the wear is even, and plenty of tread left. I expect to get another 15,000 - 20,000 miles at this rate.

They are only a little bit more noisy than stock even now.

I now have about 7,000 miles on them, and haven't noticed any
noise. Then again by the time I took the orig. tires off there was a lot of noise, and since it is winter I don't have the windows open. The driving has been mostly interstate. They are also an all season tire, which you probably don't need (I plan on running them this winter, but will go back to the winter tires/wheels next year)..

I love my Nottos... I have more than 25k miles on them... no single problem I may go on with some 5k miles before they become illegal...

My next summer tires would be Yokohama ES 100.

Both would cost less than 150 each... somewhere ~$130.
