Any Tampa/Clearwater CL owners out there?
Gentlemen, Been following your posts for quite awhile now.. good board for info on a great car. Looking for owners down in the Sunshine State... and recommendations for a decent mechanic.. keep on shining boys...

Hey Type R, good to hear from ya, I knew there had to be some CL owners down here on board, I see em all over 19... I'm down by Innisbrook,
No don't work at gulfview.. not sure where that is, my aunt has a place in IR Beach and her boyfriend owns Slammers, so I spend a lot of weekends down there..
I work for Marriott VacationClub in Tampa..
Do you know any decent mechanics down in the area that can do these Comptech headers and stuff??

I live in Tampa. If you need aftermarket parts installed on your car go to Running Great Automotive at 14513 N. Nebraska Ave and talk to Kurt. He used to work nextdoor at SpecR before they closed.

What's up guys. I live in the miami/ft lauderdale area, but i am always in the tampa area (Got friends that live in Brandon) I am usually up there for work in Ybor. Glad to see some more florida folks.

Madj80 - Thanks for the info.
TypeR - I hear ya, I could probably do the headers/springs myself, but I don't have the facilities, y'know? I can't do much at my apt., changed plugs on my Teg and caught hell from the leasing office, some sort of rules... all you can really do is clean your windows, maybe change an air filter...
Getting together would be great, count me in.. any ideas of where? I don't know too many places around Tampa, maybe we could all meet at the Hooters on 60 in Clearwater and then cruise somewhere? I don't know, u?
Went to Bayside in St. Pete last nite, somebody swiped my Type S logo on the back.. damn. So I took the whole 3.2 thing off, looks kinda nicer without it...

. shit, we have a hard time getting them go 50 miles distance, could you imagine 250-300 miles. lets see whos down for that.
