Any problems with headers and warranty?

I've finally decided to get the headers from ACP and then have them installed by my Acura dealer. Now, I've called up the dealer and was given a labor cost of $320 and made sure to ask about how the headers would affect the warranty. They said the 4 year/50000 miles warranty would still apply with the headers. Anyways, has anyone gotten headers installed and ever had some kind of warranty problems down the road? I know headers are not a big deal but I just want to make sure everything's cool before I buy them.

No problems here! Down the road if you suspect that you arent getting the same power you got when you initally had the headers installed, them they might need to be retorqued. I also got my headers installed at a Dealership, they charged me $225 for Labor, you can get it cheaper somewhere else....but like me, you're probably going to a dealer for peace of mind....in case something happens. (but it wont)

Even if a dealer doesn't install your headers, it still won't affect your warranty. If something fails on your car, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act basically states that a dealer has to prove it was the headers that caused the problem---not likely. Using the search, I found this among many other threads:

http://www.acura-cl.com/cgi-bin/ulti...c&f=1&t=000135

BTW, the labor cost of $320 is a definite rip-off. What's your dealer's labor rate--$140 per hour? My mechanic, K & K Import Service in Northern VA (Newington), charges $160 to install Comptech headers on our cars.
