Any gas experts

I'm just curious on some of the gas pumps. The one that I'm talking about is those pumps with only ONE gas hose for all three types of gasoline. Let's say the person before you pumped regular gas and you pull up and pumps super, which you require for your cls. Do you get some of the regular gas before you get your supreme or do you get 100% supreme gas. Better yet, do you avoid those pumps with only ONE gas hose. Thanks for your info.

I uses the one hose pumps because that is all they have at gate andI've found gate to be the best gass around. But I avoid the one that has unleaded and desil in the same pump I think there is one one hose I just ignore it for safteys sake I don't want that shit in my baby.

Yes, there is some VERY minor dilution (like maybe 1 or 2 quarts into a 17 gallon tank). No biggie. And there better be an octane difference! Ran my first AutoTap log tonight after filling up for the first time. Sure enough, I didn't hear it but the PCM showed ignition retardation in both banks (a.k.a. detonation ). Fuggin' GM....

If you estimate that the inside diameter of the hose is 3/4” diameter, a 10 foot long hose holds only about 29 ounces of gas.

Considering a 15-gallon fill-up would add 1,920 ounces, I wouldn’t be too worried about it.

The amount of shitty gas you get is negligible, i have a buddy who owns a few gas stations, and at least up here, i get 93 octane when the pump says 93
