There must be someone out there with a 6 speed. I would be willing to kick in a few bucks to offset someone's costs to take the car to unichip.

If they go more then likely they will get a free UniChip which = $700-600 bucks... Not to mention the great service they will be doing for the ACL6 community...!

Anyone?

I agree, I just firgured that some of the 6 speed people might be willing to put up a couple bucks to make it worth while for someone to drive over there - pay for a few drinks and maybe a stripper or two...

I would love to but 1200 miles is a little much (Denver). I would think someone from the Bay Area or Sacramento would be willing to make the trip (550 - 600 miles). If it was summer, I would take the drive for a free or discounted chip.

Actually, I spoke with Jack about doing my 6sp and he told me that it shouldn't take anymore than 1 day to install the PnP harness and do the custom mapping. But I'm going to wait until after my SC is installed and Jack and Shad (CompTech) decide if they are going to work together on the SC and Unichip integration. Don't know when this will happen, but it might be in April and maybe my car will be used. Things are tentative at this point.

cls6sp03 - Do you live close to UniChip? There are several people on here that really want the chip and u'd be doing them a huge favor if you could go up and have the mapping done before the S/C.. Just a thought..

I live in the SF Bay Area. If I lived a lot closer, I'd consider doing it before the SC is installed. However, I've already scheduled my car for the SC install next week. It's a birthday gift to myself and I'm dying to get it installed.

sorry...

I would suffer from acute separation anxiety being apart from the 6sp for that long. Then again, I could apply for disability benefits as a result of the trauma. Hmmmm...
