Amsoil Super Shift
Has anyone used this or another Type F fluid (Redline Racing) in our transmission? A lot of guys on the 3G TL side swear by this stuff to smooth out their shifts and keep the magnetic drain plug clean. I haven't really seen anyone on the 2G CL/TL side talk about trying it though.
Anyways, kinda late to ask cause i just swapped out 3 quarts with the Amsoil SS. I had done a 3X3 with the Amsoil multi vehicle ATF a couple months ago and that definitely helped shift patterns, i'm assuming due to the decline in FM's. Figured i would try this type of fluid and it definitely has made i noticeable difference. Hold gears a little longer and doesn't seem to wanna "search" for the right gear when in limbo. I have 3 more quarts i will swap out next week and see if it continues to improve things.
Got Amsoil fluids (5 quarts oil, 6 quarts SS and 2 bottles PSF) insanely cheap. PM me if you are interested in how.

Three Wheelin'
Yes I have recently done the Redline 3X3 with their synth Racing type F. I can't tell you guys how it has transformed my car. It has been nothing short of unbelievable. The shifts are quicker and firmer, and the car just feels like the power is getting to the wheels better now. Acura put a new tranny in my car just 10K miles ago, and you wouldn't have believed how much clutch goo was on the drain plug magnet. I think the Honda Z1 is made to soften shifts (think luxury car) but it does so by allowing some slippage, at least according to the 3G side. Now it feels like the CL-S that it is, rather than a luxo barge when it shifts. If you are wondering about cost, I ordered 9 quarts on line at $9.95 per quart, and the freight made it just about $100.
For any doubters, one supercharged 3G member has 80K hard miles on his auto using the Redline type F with no problems. His fluid still looks new....no black clutch material in it at all according to him. Read the posts from member "I Hate Cars". He knows what he is talking about.
