Amsoil ATF Users- Question
I have a quick question for the Amsoil ATF users.
Upon switching to Amsoil ATF in your CL, have you noticed firmer shifting under wide open throttle and/or normal driving?
Regardless of whether you noticed firmer or smoother shifting upon switching to Amsoil ATF, please state how many drain and refills you performed.
Thanks.

Blown is Best
Switched to Amsoil when I dropped in the tranny cooler.
Shifts are definitely more consistent and firm. I do not get the change in shift patterns after a hard run or on a 100+ degree day. The fluid holds up much better and does not burn as easily as conventional Z1 Honda fluid. Cannot determine how much is attributed to the fluid vs the cooler.
When I flushed the system, I first pulled the drain plug and got as much out as I could. I then took the hose off of the cooler and dropped into a jug. With a funnel in the filler hole, I refilled the tranny. I then had someone start the car for me and go through the gears while I continued to pour clean Amsoil fluid back into the system while the old fluid was pumped out of the tranny cooler hose. I ran 10 qts through the system and had clean new fluid pumping out the hose by the time I was done. (I buy the 2 1/2 gallon jugs of Amsoil)
Definitely worth the switch.
