Amazing mileage!

So this past week i drove the cl down to Houston for a family visit. Its about a 7hour drive Oklahoma to Houston and about 460 miles. I filled up right b4 i left and didnt have to stop, when i got there i was on E but i was able to get 480 out of that tank. I thought that was amazing, but on the way back and filled up again right b4 i left but this time i was able to get 510 out of it, i kinda took the wrong way in dallas and added on a few miles. But anyway i just thought this was amazing because i have 124000 miles and was just wondering if any one else has been able to get this much out of there cl.

Thats pretty good mileage...let me rephrase, thats pretty awesome mileage. Are you running any mods?

I normally get about 400 max out of a tank.

yeah wow that is pretty sick. I think the most I've pushed it before I worried about running out of gas was 420. I noticed my intake made a huge (positive) difference. I bet headers and a pulley would do the same.

depending on what kind of roads (flat or hills) mine ranges from 30-35mpg at 55-60mph and ~ 23-27mpg at 85. Though mostly around here its all hills so it sucks...

Oh and I second fuzzy... I'm the same way..

I recently posted a thread on this also. The CL amazes me on the kind of mileage it gets on the highway.

I have gotten as little as 215 miles to the tank, the most I've ever gotten was a little over 300, it's pretty bad.

How did you get that much in city driving? I only drive in the city and I get around 200ish.

Are all these numbers with the 6speed or auto?

With my auto im getting ~350/tank driving quite conservatively in mix. The highest i've ever gotten was 380 on highway.

Might get an intake, just one question, can someone confirm that an 03' TL-S AEM Intake will fit my 01' CL-S.

I've gotten a little over 400 doin highway driving mostly around 80-85MPH. But I drive it too hard around the city to ever really see that number except on a trip or something. Those are really good numbers though.
