Alternator Rewinding, those who need more power read!
Okay guys, I posted this in the Audio and Electronics forum but I didn't seem to get much exposure...so I'll post it here too.
I'm hosting a groupbuy for people who want to upgrade their alternators...this would include those who are putting HID's everywhere, upgrading their ignition, putting computers in their cars, putting bigger stereo systems in their cars, or who has something in their car or will have that draws a good bit of extra current.
A warning, I noticed one person here talked about how they got a cheap alternator off eBay. I showed this to my guys and they, as well as Wrangler, both commented on the 80% failure rate of those alternators and that there was basically no warranty or exchange policy.
Whether or not I get people to join in, I am still going to do it. However, since I am going to do it anyway I thought some other members who complain about needing more capacitors or whatnot may be interested. Also, the price will go down for the more people that join. Lastly, the new assembly you're upgrading to will come with the smallest and strongest alternator pulley in the industry, and is guaranteed by the same people that rebuild alternators for competition teams from Rockford Fosgate, JL, and Alpine. If you're interested in this go here:

To post your interest in your own forum. That post also contains a link to the TL forum where the groupbuy started. Cheers,
