Alpha Werks headers... reliable, durable?
I've done a search. Not many comments about their durability and reliability compared to comptech, obx and stone's. I'm interested in getting them since they are so cheap and they are almost equivalent to the ct's, performance-wise...
Anyone has any comments?

Headers
Consensus seems to be to buy the Comptechs if you want a smooth install.
I had some difficulties with the OBX and their fitment. With some patience, they do go on, they do sound good, and they do put some more ponies down.
OBX seem to be the most notorious for fitment problems. I have seen some fitment write ups on the Alpha and Stone headers too tho.
I'd say - if you got the $$$ buy the comptech. If you're being thrifty, it's your choice. Roll the dice.![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

The alpha werks are still new to us. Accord owners have been using them for a while now and they all like them. I guess we'll have to give it time like everything else.
So far though, everyone CL owner that has them loves them.

i have to disagree with pseudo... no installation problems whatsoever with the alphawerks
i had a problem with my o2 sensor, but that was cuz i droppd it on the floor and im pretty sure some oil and shit got onto it.
fits like a glove. performance wise they are great. buy em now if you can to get the cheap introduction price, pretty soon they'll be selling at around $500.

i got mine for intro price for 290 shipped... which was a steal..!!
but it was made clear that the price was so that we can go out and promote the headers.
nexus sells them for $475 i believe. hopefully they can hook u up with a better price than that though. good luck![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

well for sure no fitment issues at all whatsoever. fit perfectly. just make sure that the header piece with the alphawerks emblem goes in the rear, not the front.
as for performance we can't say yes for sure until we get the dyno, but if you ask me the performance is there.

PS Carlos @ A/W took a Honda Accord V6 to the Dyno with his headers and Exhaust. Stock Dynoed at 162HP. The Headers and CAT back did 193HP. He has the Graph and sound bite. The sound was the best I have heard. Call him, he'll let you hear it over the phone. It's sounds like a V8 car with exhaust.

Who wants AW headers for around $290.00 shipped?
Please call Freeman @ 561-842-3520 with all your header orders.
I just placed an order for mine, but since they are back in Florida, there will be a delay because of the huricane.
Good luck guys...

I agree....I got mine from Freeman too and he's a standup fella.
Haven't installed the headers yet so I can't say whether or not I have fitment issues.

I am not sure where in Florida he is. Just call him, he'll treat you right. He does have a physical shop and also a website.
Call him, with the prices he has on the AW headers, you can go wrong.
They list for over $500.00 anywhere else.
