"No offense but that sub looks awfuly small. If your going to pay 3k to have your whole system re-done wouldnt you opt for a bigger one?"

According to the newest issue of Car Audio ans Electronics....the 10W7 displaces the same amount of air as most 15" woofers. At the cost of the W7s, this "little" sub suites me just fine

I'll get the EQ soon.....maybe for my birthday from my girlfriend. I don't have Navi, but I think I want one of those Phoenix gold 30 band EQs mounted in the trunk.

Ahh ok...I was going to tell you to put it in the tray that is above the radio. Thats where I put mine in my other CL-S and it fits just right...and its easy to fool with (no haveing to stop and get out to adjust it). Looking good tho!!

I don't want to have to modify (cut) that opening......thats why I think I want to put and EQ in the trunk, or in the center counsil

I think you would have to do more modifying to the center counsil than that tray. Its not that much cutting and if you ever want to put it back to stock it would cost about 80 or so bucks to get a new tray like that from acura. Thats what I did when I had to trade in my 01 CL-S for my 03. I think i have pics if you interested.

just some advice -

place the EQ in your car at an easily accessible spot from your drivers seat... the reason you ask...

very simple... TUNING your car, you need to be sitting in it, so its easier and more accurate to adjust the levels and sound accuracy while constantly being in the sound chamber, instead of getting out, changing it and getting back in.... You will be GUESSING TOOOO MUCH!!!! but if you had it in your havd inside thecar, its a 1-2-3 adjustment for you....

just think about it!

Also different CD's have different sounds and recording levels....When I had it all set up I would fool with the EQ all the time to get it just how I wanted it for that soung or that CD

Very little cutting involved and if you remove the EQ and put tray back, no one will notice.

Looks great Nicky!

About the EQ, will it put noise (like white noise) through the system?

The original picture that I showed the installer had fiberglass, and I told him this is what I wanted, but I couldn't afford it. They totaly suprised me when I picked it up. I guess it was because I probably have spent $5-7K there over the years As for the EQ.....I'm not sure, I might buy an Alpine CD play with a built in EQ for $800 installed........I need to get some money first....I'm BROKE NOW

yanotkaj: the W7 sound absolutley amazing. I was gonna wait and buy the new W6s, but after hearing 1 10W7 aout perform 2 Solo-Baric L7s, I had to get one. They are expensive, but well worth the money.
